La Chamba is well known South American Cookware, hand made in South America. It has been used for preparing, cooking and serving traditional dishes for centuries.

Each piece is moulded firstly with coarse, dark grey clay and finer terracotta clay is then applied in a thin layer over the entire surface as a glaze. After drying, the surface is then polished with semi precious stones, such a Tiger's Eye.

La Chamba is fired at temperatures of approximately 600°c and is therefore safe for use on the stove, in the oven, microwave and under the grill.

Pots, plates and Vessels can be used over direct heat-gas, on the barbeque and an open flame.

Wooden utensils are recommended.
