Inspired by folk tales of the mid 19th Century, the In The Forest range of mixing bowls are intricately embossed with forest scenes featuring favourite forest animals. Made from chip resistant earthenware, the bowls are heavy enough to counter the tendancy to move during manual mixing and the pattern is designed to help grip the bowl. The shape allows you to hold the bowl in one arm easily whi le the other can be used for beating the mixture, whereas the wide shallow shape is just right for kneading. The white interior make s it easy for the cook to see the colour and consistency of the mixture ensuring the perfect result. The four different sized bowls in the range are designed to nest together for different mixing requirments and easy storage.
Mason Cash began as a pottery in Church Gresley in 1800, producing kitchen items made from glazed earthenware. The company was run by a series of Master Potters, including 'Bossy' Mason, who gave the company its name. In 1901, Tom Cash acquired the pottery and renamed it Mason Cash & Co. The company designed and manufactured its iconic mixing bowl in the same year, and the design has barely changed since then, making the brand a renowned producer of innovative, classic kitchenware today.
